What to do
Take the manufacturer from the foreign registration document, CoC, IVA/MSVA certificate or manufacturer evidence.
Use a consistent manufacturer name across V55/5, approval evidence and identity documents.
For classics or low-volume vehicles, use the manufacturer supported by your dating or club evidence.
Keep the model and full specification for box 7, not box 5.
