What do I get for free?
You can plan the likely registration route for your vehicle, see which NOVA, approval, MOT and document steps apply, and track the case through to posting. The complete guided V627/1 builder and its populated PDF are also free. V55/4 and V55/5 are free to start before payment.
What does the £14 payment include?
One payment of £14 unlocks one guided V55/4 or V55/5, including the form-specific checks and populated official layout. V627/1 is free. Paid forms can be downloaded again during the 30-day access period.
Is the Import Assistant included?
For V55/4 and V55/5 applications, the free experience includes an application review and a small number of follow-up questions, and the paid form keeps the Import Assistant available during the 30-day access period. The free V627/1 builder includes guidance beside each relevant vehicle-parts field.
Is this a subscription or a one-time payment?
V627/1 is free. Guided V55/4 and V55/5 completion is a one-time payment of £14 per form, with no subscription or recurring charge.
How long do I have access after paying?
You receive an access link that lets you return to your form for 30 days from any device. After payment you can edit your details and re-download the PDF for 30 days at no extra cost.
Why pay £14 when the paper form is free?
The form itself is free, but getting it wrong is not. A rejected application is posted back and your vehicle stays unregistered — often for weeks — with the DVLA's £55 first-registration fee on the line. Our guided completion checks supported fields against current DVLA guidance and catches common errors before printing.
Is the generated PDF accepted by the DVLA?
The V55/4 and V55/5 downloads are PDF answer references in the official layout. DVLA acceptance of our populated PDFs is unconfirmed. Check the answers against the current official form and copy them onto that form if required before signing. Supplementary forms have their own official printing and signing instructions.
What if I need help or something goes wrong?
Contact us at help.v55.5@gmail.com. We usually respond within one business day. If the DVLA rejects an application prepared with our service, we will issue a full refund when you send us evidence of the rejection.
Do you store my personal data?
Your in-progress answers are saved locally in your own browser. Data you submit for PDF generation is retained only while your access is active and is deleted automatically once it expires. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
